    Inconsistency in reporting memory

    Dear members,
I'm running Kubuntu on a decade old system. Luckily it runs quite well, as I desired. However the problem is three different tools show memory usage quite differently. I'm confused regarding the actually memory usage, and the difference between them is quite huge.
    1. Neofetch reports: 414 mb
    2. Free reports: 315 mb
    3. Stacer reports: 879.6 mb
Would somebody please explain me why this inconsistency, or if I'm not reading it right? Have a look at the screenshot too.

Also suggest if my setup is consuming more memory than expected.

Each and every single monitor is calculating things a bit differently, some include caches and/or buffers as 'used'.

The ubiquitous linuxatemyram website has more information that may be helpful.
