I got Chrome from the Groogle download page via my Neon machine.

I believe there were five Snaps installed including a couple of GTK ones. I removed them all and then purged snapd. Perhaps I should have replaced the removed Snaps with .deb versions, if they were available.

No time for this for a few days, I'm off to a beer festival today, which is far more important!

I used clonezillza to backup my main drive and am going to upgrade on top of the backup. What syntax do I use in a terminal window when I reboot to the backup Sorry to be brain dead.

OR - I also installed Synaptic Package Mgr because I find Muon to be clunky. Is there an upgrade package to search for?
