So I guess it's semi-offical now https://kubuntu.org/news/kubuntu-22-04-lts-released/ I'm still taking the conservative response and wait for 20.04 LTS to be upgraded.

He doesn't tell us how/where he got Chrome. Statements without context bug me.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

I'm going to be installing Ubuntu Studio now they are using KDE as their desktop. At the moment I used their addon on top of Kubuntu but the actual distro has been upgraded. First task on install, removing snap Although I need to compile some sort of list before I uninstall of configs and customising.

Great release so far so good. Working well here I did a new Install instead of upgrading. Everything working fine.
only glitch is I use Vivaldi and as in the Daily builds and Beta QApt finds it's missing a dependency and won't install it but I just manually installed with dpkg and it's working fine also.
Not sure what dependency QApt thinks is missing. Other than that everything is working.Dave Kubuntu 20.04 Registered Linux User #462608

This worked perfectly here on a new 22.04 install:
wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/g...rent_amd64.deb
sudo apt update
sudo apt install google-chrome-stable
No additional dependencies required.
