Ubuntu 20.04 would do this every time it booted from a live USB and Linux Mint makes this verification an option at boot. I like it, I was trying out Mint from live USB and it actually found an error when checking, so I mounted a different USB drive and the error was gone. Is it possible to do this with Kubuntu 22.04?
Is this unnecessary? I just wanna be sure a defective thumb drive isn't going to corrupt the installation or something.
