I've just managed to install 22.04 LTS on my desktop, using the same media as I did for my laptop - which is working fine - and when I go to boot it crashes at "finished set console scheme".
Any ideas as to what's gone wrong and what I can do? It was running 18.04 LTS no problems.
Upon switching it off and trying again it crashes saying "created slive slice /system/getty"
Then I tried once more and this time it freezes on "finished terminate plymouth boot screen"
Seems bizarre it keeps hanging at different things?
