Help with Kubuntu 22.04 set up.

Just setting up Kubuntu 22.04 and am trying to get it to work like my 20.04 install but am having a couple problems I'd like to fix.
On 20.04 I have it set so that when I click on an application it looks like this.

On 22.04 the icon in the task bar disappears and it turns in to the listing on the task manager panel.
Also I have placed a short spacer after the icon section.

Is there a way I can make it work like this on 22.04? Or is that not possible?

I've blown up the task bar a little so it is easier to see.

This is the way it looks/works in 20.04.....

This is the way it looks in 22.04.
Notice how the FF icon has disappeared.

Right click the icon, and unpin the icon to remove it.

'Pinning' the application gives it this 'disappearing' act, as the default task manager style is the icons-only type, which would otherwise show duplicate icons.
Now, what you want to do is replace the icon by going into your Application Launcher, and right-clicking on the desired program icon, and selecting "Add to Panel"

In this case you will need to go into 'panel edit' mode to move these icon widgets to where you want them. Pinning allows for drag and drop within the Task Manager area, and, just like in 20.04, widgets and icons need you to go into the panel edit thingy mode, but you can move them wherever.

        Perfect!
Sorry it took so long to get to this but I've had to do a lot of running around to get ready for Turkey day.

        Thank you!
