window thumbnails don't seem to be mipmapped

Window preview thumbnails when mousing over icons in the panel look crunchy. As I understand this was added back in 2018. Is there a secret setting?

    crunchy
What do you mean by crunchy? Anyway for you to be more specific? I understand what crunchy means but do not understand it in the context of tooltips. Mine have always looked fine btw As far as hidden settings, KDE usually puts all settings right out in the open. If you click on the task manager, and check configure icons only task manager, there are only a few settings related to tooltips. You may be having an issue with rendering of some sort if the issue is really bad. What video card and driver are you using? Do you have any other visual complaints about KDE or just the way the tooltips look to you?

You might try clearing the icon cache, it gets screwed up for me sometimes. It's in $HOME/.cache/icon-cache.kcache and you can just delete it.
