TV: Vizio E43-E2 4K Theater Display
GPU: NVidia RTX2080 SUPER (OC Edition)
I have a minor issue with my TV where every so often, it randomly reboots itself. When this happens, the display config changes to automatically enable the other two displays. On (TV) reboot, sometimes the PC doesn't see that it's back on. While actively using the PC, all I have to do is unplug the TV from the back of the PC, and plug it back in to get everything restored.
If this happens when the computer is locked (such as when I leave it on and locked overnight), there is a rare chance that the keyboard won't function on the lock screen, except to let me switch to a TTY. At this point, the only thing I can do (without rebooting the PC) is login to TTY, and use the following command to unlock the session.
After switching back, the session is unlocked. Usually the first few key presses after that get a lagged response, and then I get a message asking me to send a crash report. This has happened twice now on a clean install of Kubuntu 22.04. I suspect it might have something to do with the issue I posted in this forum post but I can't figure out how to solve that one on my own either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
