Screens don't switch off after kernel update

    Greetings!

My Kubuntu 22.04 did a kernel upgrade the other day, and after rebooting, I've noticed that the monitors no longer switch off after 10 minutes of non-use.

I've checked the setting in the energy setting, and nothing has changed.

No new hardware has been added since the reboot.

My Nvidia card (1050Ti) is running driver version 525.147.05

    Kernel version is 6.5.0-15

Noticed it's running X11 and not Wayland.

    Ideas?

My first idea is to switch it from 10 minutes to 11 minutes and "apply". It might just need to be reminded of it's new environment.

Apparently the old adage, "Did you try turning if off and on again" works. Decided to reboot it again, and now the monitors switch off as expected!

How do you perform updates/upgrades performed on your PC?
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Just the defaults, whatever comes across the update notification I let install. Reboot if it updates the kernel and asks to reboot. Otherwise I just leave the computer runnin.
