    [SOLVED] Can't call up Users

Wanting to change my desktop password, I looked for 'Users and groups' and couldn't find it in the menu. So I searched for it, got Users, but nothing happens when I click it. What's going on?

    Do it from Konsole: https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/change...-using-passwd/

It worked just fine: quick & easy, but where is Plasma's graphical utility? What happened to it?

On 22.04, I still have it... system settings, users, change password. Perhaps you're logged in as a user with account type "standard"?

I'm in 22.04. I'm ashamed and embarrassed. I don't know why I didn't see it; it was right there, under my nose. I'm very sorry to have bothered you.

when I get to it through the search utility and click it, nothing happens
It didn't occur to me you would do that; can you start system settings, not using the search bar? Settings->system settings? I'm using "Application Menu", perhaps you're using an alternative. Anyway, my post, "I still have it", was to assure that it's supposed to be there.

If using passwd you get no error and your password is not changed, I'm scratching for possible causes. Some security mechanism, more appropriate for hardened systems, maybe.

I certainly can, and it wes there all along for me, too. I just never thought it would be System Settings; I thought it would be in System or perhaps even in Utilities. Again, I'm very sorry for bothering you. I should have found it easily. See my edited previous post. And thanks for the affirmation of my experience with the passwd command.
