[ABANDONED] workspace behavior - screen edges not working

something sudden happened, and screen edges are not longer work, to help me switch between virtual screens. It's annoying
I've reported it twice to bugs.kde.org, but apparently I don't have the most up-to-date rolex watches and gucci clothing to warrant their help

so. What do I install (package) the deals specifically with screen edges
I've tried everything.
Move the edge. change the edge function, restart, upgraded from 20.04 to 22.04, redo start of sentence again, screamed at computer

Does this still happen in a new user account?
Neither of the "Switch desktop on edge" options work? Or just your desired one?
Or are you talking about screen corners options?
Ok, reading the bug report you mean the screen corner.

Which setting are you using

I do not see an option to switch virtual desktops from corner presses:


Are either of the "Switch Desktop on Edge" option enabled/working?
What about the activation delays, are those OK?



There probably isn't one specific package that provides this, but I don't know.
I can't yet find the config file with the option, as of yet.

DESKTOP Grid under "screen edges". Anyhow I've solved this problem. I had to add a back-port, then clean, then fix, then re-install plasma desktop. It fixed it.
I haven' had a good last few days, and no not Cov!d, but if the group really wants the answer, I'll have to search for it, then post it. Unfortunately I have to be elsewhere IRL
