[SOLVED] How to return logout option to desktop context menu

Hi all,

A few weeks ago I took the opportunity to update my desktop environment to that shown below.

Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Kernel Version: 5.15.0-67-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11

Before that, to logout, I just had to right click on the desktop and select logout from the desktop context menu. To logout now, I have to go to the program launcher and select logout. Very Windows/Start Button like.

Is there any way that the logout option can be added to the current desktop context menu ?

You should have a "leave" option on the right click menus.
If not, you can add it, among other options to tweak.

Right-click on Desktop >>> Configure Desktop >> Mouse actions > click the config button

Thank you for your reply. The fix was easily applied thanks to your very clear instructions and is working just fine.

ASIDE: This method of close down seems to work faster than the previous method. Just very much an anecdotal observation.

That "leave" option (on rt-clicking the Desktop) is already there (i.e., check-marked already) on my recently installed 22.04.
