    [SOLVED] Widget problems

Having a problem with Widgets that I've downloaded not working , not ever showing up in the widget list.
I Like the weather underground widget and it has been working fine Until today. It just disappeared and can't be found anywhere on the system.
any Ideas what might have happened?

Which Weather Underground widget did you download, and from where?
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Downloaded the Weather Underground PWS widget downloaded from the widget menu. when you right click on the panel and select add widget.
It is now working again so don't know what happened but will keep an eye on it for now.
      Thank you for your reply.

It seems to be related to timeouts when querying weather servers. I have this same problem with "Compact Weather" suddenly seeming to disappear. Its actually running, but not shown until it gets a successful hit. There are a few other widget oddities that drive me a bit bonkers, like the propensity to suddenly lose their sizing and alignment.

Yep, I think your right. It had just disappeared so I was trying to reinstall it but after I'd left the machine for a couple hours, It was back. Oh well will mark it as solved for now.
thanks for the input. Appreciate it.
