I have recently switched from Linux Mint Cinnamon 20 to Kubuntu 22.04 and I miss not having sounds for various system events. Is it possible to add such functionality? Thanks for any help you can give me.

It is well hidden. : Go to System Settings >Notifications>Application Settings >Plasma Workspace> Configure Events
Have fun with that! You can also download the same sound set from Cinnamon and use those as well. I suggest putting them in a folder in your home directory in Music>Sounds. I am a sound person as well. I still have the old KDE 3 login sound play when I log into Plasma 5. Call me sentimental!
