sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt full-uprade
When that finishes:
sudo do-release-upgradeWindows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

First, make sure your backups are current, for anything you don't want to lose.
The easy way... wait and Kubuntu will suggest it to you. That might be a few weeks, it might be today.
Otherwise, assuming you have a decent internet connection, open a konsole and runCode:sudo do-release-upgrade
BTW, it's not possible to upgrade using a iso, unless you do a reinstall. (Some would recommend that, and it is much faster. If you don't reformat /home you'd keep most of your settings, but you'd have to reinstall any software you've installed.)Regards, John Little
