@John Little & Qqmike: I just saw your replies. I had re-installed kubuntu before your replies and everything seemed to work correctly with one exception. I get an error message after boot telling me there was a program error and asks if I would report it. I answer yes, it disappears and everything seems to be OK. I tried looking at log files w/o any luck. No matter if I use mousepad or LibreOffice, they just hang trying to show any text. Syslog is 1.5G, maybe it too big.
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
