Audio playback device works on every distribution but kubuntu

When I plug in my wireless hyperx cloud stinger's usb into my pc it gets detected and the audio works, but my mouse just stops working. I haven't had this issue with any other distribution.


I've tried:
- Different USB slots
- Resetting the USB
- Reinstalling

I dont have any other devices to try this on so I dont know if its in general but it shouldnt be as ive reinstalled on two different storage devices

Which distros/versions?
Which mouse?
Looking for differences that might give a clue as to what to look at.

You might look at KSystemLog, and see what shows in the Kernel log and/or system log when you plug the dongle in.

Kubuntu 21.10 doesnt work, Raspbian works I dont know the version but its an older 2021 version running on debian 10

I'd be curious to see the output of lsusb both before and after the "wireless hyperx cloud stinger" is plugged in as well as the output from dmesg.

Nothing of value stands out there. It still shows the mouse connected.

yeah the mouse just freezes even if I reconnect it

so I figured out my mouse freezes when I have the usb plugged into usb 3 slots for some reason (its a usb 2) but kubuntu doesnt detect devices plugged into usb 2 slots
