using Kubuntu 21.04
I have a laptop and monitor both of reasonably high resolution. If the monitor is connected vai USB C I find that the monitor is fine at 100% scaling. The laptop screen is a bit hard to read but that is not too much of an issue. I have selected save display's properties for only this specific display arrangement. Unfortunately if I then use the laptop with not attached monitor 100% scaling is too small, 150% is what I want so if I set that, again selecting for only this specific display arrangement I would expect to get 100% scaling next time I connect the monitor (or start the laptop up with the monitor connected). This does not happen, the scale stays at 100. If I change it to 150, log off and on to fix the change all is well until I next use the laptop with no monitor when scaling stays at 150 instead of switching to 100.
How do I get scaling to be specific to the display arrangement?
thanks
