[PLASMA 5] SDDM 'Frozen' When Screen Locks After X Minutes

This is no longer an issue! An update seems to have addressed this Thanks!

    Greetingss everyone,

I hope you are all doing well

Fairy simple issue that started happening about 2 weekss ago.
When my system locks after the designated timeout it will draw the SDDM screen with the time, as usual but it's frozen.
I initially thought the whole system was locked up but noticed that I could still login if I just punched in my password and hit send.
This also ONLY occurs when the system locks itself. Initial login works as expected.

This is only something I noticed because the time on the lock screen was hours behind (I had hibernation disabled)
I am also free the move the cursor all around but the password field and user avatar never pops up as it usually does.

Any idea what might be causing this? Not a tremendous issue as it still functions but a little annoying.

    As alwayss, thanks in advanced!

In another thread this link was give: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.1...ep-states.html
    Suspend-to-Idle

This is a generic, pure software, light-weight variant of system suspend (also referred to as S2I or S2Idle). It allows more energy to be saved relative to runtime idle by freezing user space, suspending the timekeeping and putting all I/O devices into low-power states (possibly lower-power than available in the working state), such that the processors can spend time in their deepest idle states while the system is suspended.
Does that behavior explain your problem?

      Hello GreyGeek,

Thank you for the reply and I can see why you might think this is what I am experiencing, especially since I mentioned noticing the time not progressing but I don't think this is the issue.
The entire screen refuses to respond in the way it once did (drawing avatar and password field) when I move my mouse or begin to type my password.
Whether or not this is in fact what is causing the problem I'm curious as to why it decided to crop up only now and wondering how I might revert it from doing so.
