I have recently (last Friday, to be precise) upgraded from 16.04 via 18.04 to 20.04
I use kate to take notes for my work and have written some scripts that either process marked text (eg make substitutions or indenting) or just copy the text and insert eg a date/time line.
This, however, does not work any more. When I run
Tools -> External Tools -> Tools -> Run Shell Script
a window flashes for a brief moment, but I'm not asked which script I would like to run.
Has this (valuable) feature been turned off or what?
Thanks in advance,
Josef
