After upgrade Thunderbird to 78.5 I can't use google calendar 100x100

After the last update that we have received from Thunderbird to version 78.5, I see that my google calendar does sync but, I cannot accept invitations (from teams for example), in short, it does not have the same functionality as before.

I have looked for information about it, I see that lightning is no longer operational in versions higher than 68 TB.
Anyway, I have installed xul-ext-lightning but without any success.

Do you know if it is possible to solve it?

For me it is important to be able to respond to invitations / meetings through TB, now I only have the option of doing it through mobile.

    Thanks and best regards.

It seems 78.x is a major release still in testing. See this --> https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/th.../releasenotes/

It seems most plugins have yet to update to support this major release. They didn't say they won't just not currently.

I know this doesn't help but thought good information to share.

Are you using the Provider for Google Calendar extension and is it up to date?

You might want to check the issues page.

The latest Google Provider supports up to 78.2, and has various issues above that. The author has not replied to comments on the site for quite some time, and lots of people have issues. I'm sticking with 68.12 until it gets sorted out.

Sorry for the delay in answering, these last days I have not been able to be "operational".

Yes, I have seen the changes in this new version, observing that lightning is "integrated" and is no longer a separate product. Also, that many addons are no longer operational in this new version.

Everything updated, but as the partner says below, it is not operational.

I think that at the moment, it is the only option that I have, to go back version.
I have been able to add google calendar manually, but it loses functionality, I cannot add custom notices and some other option.

Thanks for your answers, I will continue investigating a little but what I said, I think I will go back in version for the moment. A pity, because this new version looks very good, but it gives me the feeling that it has been launched before its own functions such as lightning (google calendar) are not 100% operational.

          Thanks and regards.
