Why doesn't System Information identify 20.04 as an LTS?

Just curious of course. System Information identifies 20.04 as just that: 20.04. It doesn't include the LTS identifier. Has this always been so for all Kubuntu LTS releases?

Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Probably the string that is read to provide the info doesn't include it?

I haven't yet determined how it reads 'Kubuntu' as all the well known OS identifiers show 'Ubuntu' , as expected.

The only string in /etc/os-release that includes 'LTS' is PRETTY_NAME, which also includes 'Ubuntu', and VERSION. lsb_release has a similar descriptor.
My first thought it is reading NAME and VERSION_ID from /etc/os-release, but that would show as 'Ubuntu' and '20.04'.
