[MULTI BOOT] ubi-partman error 141

Please help!!!

Partitioned computers in the past with Kubuntu and never had this problem. I have a new HP with windows 10 and am trying to install Kubuntu 20.04 with dual boot. During the installation process, the "ubi-partman error 141" shows up before the disk setup. Cannot make progress.

Tried:
-decrypting bitlocker
-disabling secure boot
-creating an unallocated space on the hard drive

From a live desktop session, can you see your hard drive(s) in the file manager?
What computer do you have?

If you cannot see the drive from Dolphin, then likely your computer is using Intel's RST raid setup, which has zero Linux support. You would have to switch to ahci in your bios.

In the BIOS, the setting is AHCI. Still same error.

But what about this info:

From a live desktop session, can you see your hard drive(s) in the file manager?
What computer do you have?

A Live session is choosing 'Try Kubuntu'. Then you can use the file manager and see if you can see your hard drive.

And

-decrypting bitlocker

Does this mean you have the whole drive encrypted in Windows?
I admit I am not at all familiar with bitlocker.

Also, try creating a new USB installer using a different program than the one you used., such as Balena Etcher, maybe even try downloading a fresh ISO image.
