Not able to install Kubuntu 20.04.1

I've tried two different thumb-drives same problem ever time the installer crashes for Kubuntu 20.04.1.
And I see I'm not the only one having this issue. I have two HDDs one for Windows and the other for Linux/Kubuntu.
    Please help.

What are you using to create the USb sticks?
Have you verified the iso, or tried re-downloading it?

Yes I verified it. And I forgot the name of the app but I got it from the Discover Software Center I think its called dual something because it allows you to install ISO files to two thumb-drives at once. And I just re-downloaded the ISO file on my Linux Mint laptop and I'll be using the stock USB Imaging tool on Linux Mint.
Also I'm able to boot into Kubuntu 20.04.1 but when I install updates it breaks audio and internet.

If the updates included the 5.8 kernel, boot to the previous kernel for the moment.

From your grub boot menu where you select which OS to boot.

I tried that I tried to boot kernel 5.4 and it just hangs I had to do a force shutdown, then I tried to boot back into the 5.8 kernel and it booted just fine but I'm still having issues with the audio and internet still of course also its in super low resolution mode. And when I go to the driver manager it doesn't show any driver currently working not even the open source one (Nvida GTX 760).

I just discovered something about this issue. I've found a common problem with Ubuntu/Kubuntu 20.04.1 and the installer it looks like if you select install third party software it causes the installer to crash.

If want to play MP3, MP4 etc I simply just need to install Ubuntu restricted extras correct? Also does Ubuntu restricted extras include drivers for video cards as well.

I don't think you need the restricted-extras specifically theses days. Icould be wrong, though. I don't think I have this on my Kubuntu setup, and mp3 etc play just fine.

This package has nothing to do with drivers at all. You can look at the Drivers section in System Settings to access the 'Additional Drivers' tool, if you need anything like that.

So I can still use closed source video drivers for my Nvida card?

                        Thanks for all your help.
Good news un-checking third party software did the trick I was finally able to install Kubuntu 20.04.1.
But all is not great I think I damaged something I did reboot after some software was installed and it looked like it was freezing so I did a forced shutdown now when I install video drivers for example it doesn't notify me to reboot my system.
