[LAPTOP] Upon plugging in Android Phone, this message comes out.

The file or folder udi=/org/kde/solid/udev/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb2/2-1/2-1.1 does not exist. <- Message

    Hi All,
I have just installed Kubuntu and a newbie at Linux. I am trying to access my files in my Android Phone but am unable to do so. I have changed the File Manager to Krusader but it was not successful as well. Appreciate if some kind soul could guide me as to other approaches that I can try to solve this please.
    Thank you.
    Cheers.

KDE Connect works with some phones.

If you're seeing that message, at least the system is "seeing" your phone. Make sure you have USB set correctly on your phone.

        You don't need a cable.
The first thing you have to do is go to the phone settings and turn on Bluetooth.
Go to the apps store and download KDEConnect for your phone. Install KDEConnect onto your laptop.
Open Bluetooth settings on your phone. Open Bluetooth settings on your laptop and see if your phone is seen. If it is connect and click the pair button. On you phone accept your laptop as a trusted device. Ditto on your laptop.
One the KDEConnect settings page you can click on your paired device and it will show 14 function capabilities in the right panel. I've played with most of them, including sending and receiving files between my phone and laptop using KDEConnect. I can control my video on my laptop using my phone. Using the scrcpy app in Kubuntu's repository I can display my phone's display on my laptop and use my mouse to control it. And, I can use my finger on my phone to move my mouse on my laptop. I wear a headset while using my laptop so that I don't disturb my wife when watching YT videos. Audio alerts on my phone come through my headset.

But, if you want a cable turn on developer options on your phone. You may have to do something like clicking on your phone model # 7 times to get the developer menus to appear and be accessible.
        Enable USB connections and debugging.

Its a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 (Custom Rom - AOSiP Pie)
I used the same cable on Ubuntu 18.04 and it was doing fine (will test with another cable an update) - I have tried all 3 usb ports with the same result (unable to read)
I have used "USB Preferences" for file transfer (did the same for Ubuntu 18.04 and was able to access my phone like a thumbdrive)

I'm trying to share some photos but its not appearing (its down below)

I can see it on KDE. Have set it on USB Preferences as file transfer.

Thank you for the info on this, I tried transferring a file and it works. KDE seems like a great tool by the way you describe it (Will try it out soon)
I am actually trying to save data from Titanium Backup in my phone to the laptop.
I have set up the developer option on the phone with the same result.
