Just did a fresh install of 20.04 (using existing /home).
Pretty smooth. I have noticed that sometimes as I boot, sddm does not accept any keyboard input. I end up having to reboot the system. (The mouse works fine.)
Haven't figured the pattern out yet -- might be that if I type as soon as the screen appears vs. waiting, etc. Still working it out.
I have multiple monitors: none of the input fields accept anything. The virtual keyboard generates no entry, either. (The cursor is inside the text field, and it seems to have focus, etc.) I'm unable to get to a vterm via ctrl-alt-Fx (not sure if I should be able to yet though?)
