[DESKTOP] Firefox no longer exports its menu to the Global Menu widget

The Global Menu widget (the one that allows you to have [File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help] in the panel instead of within the app) still works with most applications, but it doesn't work with Blender, GIMP, Ardour, or most importantly to me, Firefox. Does anyone know how to fix this, or if it can be fixed? I thought the Kubuntu (or perhaps KDE) team always maintained a version of Firefox that supported the Global Menu.

I have same issue with Firefox and Inkscape in Kubuntu 20.04, and I don't know how to fix it, previously in Kubuntu 18.04 there were no problems.

I wouldn't call that solved. As soon as you downgrade Firefox, an update notification shows up in Discover which breaks it again.

Never mind. I opened Muon, did a search for Firefox, and and locked "firefox" and "xul-ext-ubuntu."

I'm sure someone smarter than me would think this is a bad idea, since it potentially could negate security updates (?).

Should I file a bug report?
