    No network on startup sometimes

    Hello all:

After a fresh installation of Kubuntu, around a month ago, everything was working fine, then after 2 weeks I've been experimenting a very annoying bug: no network (Ethernet or wireless) at all on startup, this happens random: I may have 5 boots with no issues and then the next 2 boots no network. When this happens the nm icon shows a computer with an x and there's not a single network listed or available if I click on it. I already did the "all users can connect..." and "save pass no cipher..." trick and it didn't work. What it may be the solution? Thank you in advance.

I have had similar problems when both WiFi and Ethernet enabled, so disabled Ethernet
