can't access router usb port drive

I've got a D-link DIR-882, which has a usb port. When I install a usb drive the router reports it's connected. But when I enter smb://192.168.0.1 into Dolphin I get "connection to host 192.168.0.1 is broken". Help.

EDIT: should have noted it works fine with Win10.
