Wired network not working after update

Hi everyone.

Currently using a Dell Precision T7500, running Kubuntu 20.04 since it was released.

Up till now, no problems but I performed an update on Sunday evening and when I turned the PC on today, no wired network connection. I booted into Windows and it worked perfectly.

Any thoughts? :-)

What kernel? Try booting to the older kernel.

I also have this problem. I'm running a toshiba laptop with network controllers:
Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01) and
Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit Ethernet (rev c0).

I updated my system and the network shows no wired or wifi connections configured even though I can see the hardware with 'lspci'
I couldn't find any solution with google so I downloaded the latest 20.04 and did a clean install. I updated after the install. The adapters were fine. I rebooted and I lost the connections again.
