I just installed a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, on a Samsung Q70R TV 65"
What I observe when playing videos in my PC, is:
1. When watching 4K YouTube videos, quality in color and image smoothness, is just great; almost (yet not as good), as the quality you'd observe playing the native YouTube app in the smart TV.
2. When I reply 4k MKV movies in Celuloide or VLC, it can be noticed that the image is:
- A bit grainy; not as smooth as in the browser
- Colors are kind of exaggerated, not that natural. Skin color is a bt redish, for example
Why the browser reproduces 4K video streaming so much better, than the reproduction of a file by a player app?
