[SOLVED] hplip-3.20.3

Hi all seems I can't install hplip-3.20.3 sudo apt-get install --assume-yes python3-pyqt4' Some packages may not get installed on python3 due to distro incompatibilites
Repo doesn't have python3-pyqt4.

any suggestions

Why are you trying to manually install python3-pyqt4?
It is not a dependency for Hplip in Focal as far as I can see.

Qt4 stuff was removed from the repos a release or two back.

And the package Hplip should already be installed. This has the driver files.

Solved
The printer driver was installed and was set up as Local usb. So I saved my previous setting "hp:/net/HP_OfficeJet_Pro_8740?ip=192.168.1.241" set the correct configuration .
Then a couple days later there was an update on the Cups driver and the HP widget appeared on my desktop and all is well/
