I am trying to install 20.04 on a laptop that has been running 19.10. When I boot from the usb and try to run it from the grub screen the computer shuts off with no errors.
I do get acpi errors before the boot menu loads. I would like to try booting with acpi off, but can't figure out how to turn it off when the grub menu comes up.
