With Intel graphics, as they are well supported in Linux out of the box, you already have the most current support available. The drivers are built into the kernel, and also via the Mesa drivers.
Generally speaking, they don't benefit from any 'upgrades' as they have excellent support at the kernel level already.

I have problems:
In thunderbird visual problems (resize message window).
Sometimes I loose desktop it looks like frozen program but tab works but strange behaviour.
I put on lowest compositor for now.

Maybe upgrade to the latest LTS release? A newer Thunderbird, as well as Plasma/Frameworks/Qt etc might help.
There are many potential causes for things like this, besides graphics.

I had even problem with installing last LTS. Even when pass install doesn't boot. So I give up on that. I didn't try ubuntu legacy server than kubuntu desktop because I loose too much time and I had to start working. So for now I stick with pre last LTS edition.
Maybe I will upgrade but not now.
Testing by side Manjaro KDE also when I have time.
I am ok with Thunderbird 91.x for now. But Plasma should be good upgrade.

I have progress. More stable desktop when I change 256MB to 512MB dedicated for VGA.
Using now opengl 2 compositor. Thunderbird still have same issues.

You might also try a more up to date Thunderbird https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...nderbird-linux
If you use the 'advanced' method, and download the binaries directly from Thunderbird, you can try it alongside your existing version, as it is a self-contained setup that runs from wherever you extract the files to (back up your files and configs, of course, just in case)

You can try installing the Snap version, which is also a self contained and sandboxed application managed by Discover, but you'll just get grief from people plus, I think it might be a bit slow on your older system. However, it IS perfect for testing out a newer version as it also won't replace or interfere with your existing Tbird (back up your files and configs, of course, just in case)

I'd suggest the manual download, as it is far easier to try. Download, extract, click a file to run. (no command line is actually necessary)

Thanks for possibilites. But I do not like this new things in Linux world: flat, snap, appimage etc.
I will stick with standard packages for now. I do not need last Thunderbird for now.

Kernel Version: 5.15.0-52-generic
And new Thunderbird 102.2.2 solved problem.
