How can I add an application to the Kmenu in 9.10?

I have a new application in /usr/bin/.mucommander that I want to add to the Kmenu and the launch panel. I can run the app from the terminal, but I haven't found a way to add it to the menu and launch panel. Can anyone help? I've seen where you're supposed to be able to open the kmenu and use the add/remove programs item, but that's not listed in my kmenu.

Right-click on K and select Menu Editor.
