[SOLVED] Can't find wireless networks, even after getting the driver and WICD.

Have a Dell Vostro 1500, running Kubuntu 9.10. I installed the Broadcom STA wireless driver through the Hardware Drivers program. This has gotten the internet working for me every time in the past when I've had to reinstall. No wireless networks found. I then installed WICD. Still nothing. Any suggestions?
