Whenever I start the mythtv frontend (on the same laptop that runs the backend) I lose my arrow keys (they seem to turn into capital alphabetical keys) and the normal alphanumeric keys turn into special letters (ńëõáḾ etc). I have to kill the frontend via ssh, but after that the keys are still wrong. Mythtv version is 0.22.
I installed mythtv after long use and tweaking of the kubuntu karmic 9.10 base running on it. I suppose a clean install (or just using mythbuntu) will fix this since nobody else seem to have this issue, but I'd like to save some time, effort and bandwidth.
Is anything known about this?
