Hi all,
I recently upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic, and uninstalled PulseAudio right after that.
Since then, I get constant static noise through my speakers. Sound is ok in all programs so far. But I have the noise straight through everything. Any mouse movement, flash movie, internet page building up, hovering menus etc... can all be heard by rhytm and sound changes. It's like the static interacts with the processor.
I have been searching for hours on this topic, without any success. Re-installed PulseAudio, which didn't help.
In Jaunty, sound was perfect. Now, it's just nerve-wrecking.
Any ideas how I can get this right again ?
