    textbox size issue

I have the latest version of Kubuntu installed on my computer, and there seem to be some text boxes which run out of room. For example the clock on the task bar is cut off at the edges, the boxes where you enter a password (the login screen, web browsers) etc. This isn't a huge problem, but there is no reason why it can't be fixed, so I am throwing it out there.

Fonts in Karmic usually fit, unless you play with System settings - appearance - fonts. Didn't you change system fonts there?

I haven't touched the fonts in system settings-appearances. Of course I have changed the appearance using themes, but the textbox for login has always been small.

I don't think I can help you as I have never seen something like that, but maybe you could try now to set smaller fonts in System settings - appearance - fonts or try to change back to the default theme to see what happens - maybe it is a bug in your theme or the theme is not prepared for your screen resolution.
