    sudo apt-get remove libsdl1.2-all

    hi,


    i just tried to remove a file i had installed using this command:

    sudo apt-get install libsdl1.2-all libsdl-mixer1.2 libopenal1

    but it seems it removed libsdl1.2-all instead and now i cant log into my system....anyone know a quick command i can use in terminal as cannot enter my system just tty1..

    ok, i tried as a newbie to upgrade to 10.4 lucid and i have done that now, but still i am stuck in tty1 mode....i was hoping an upgrade would restore my lost files...but t seems it diddnt..or atleast i am stcu in the same place

      gave up, doing a fresh install of 9.10.
