When I attempted to install this browser on Kubuntu, it produced an error saying that it wasn't compatible with the OS. The only reason that I can think of that this might be true, is because the version of Kubuntu in question is x64 and Opera is only x32, however this has never been a problem on any other OS that I have tried, either of Linux or Windows flavors. The Opera download site doesn't have Kubuntu amoung their download options, but I would assume that it is the same as Ubuntu. Any ideas on how to make it work? If it doesn't like my choice of browsers, then I won't like it either.

Re: Opera Compatibility
...Kubuntu in question is x64 and Opera is only x32...
I have been using the Opera from here > http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/
(http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux...nal/en/x86_64/)
Adding
Those .deb packages are starter packages - they have a "postinst" script that will add: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/opera.list:
# This file makes sure that Opera Browser is kept up-to-date
# as part of regular system upgrades
deb http://deb.opera.com/opera/ stable non-free
# The line above will make sure you get all final public releases.
# Uncomment the following line if you want to get alpha and beta
# releases, too.
# deb http://deb.opera.com/opera-beta/ stable non-free

Re: Opera Compatibility
Just add this to your software repositories in kpackagekit or synaptic:
Code:deb http://deb.opera.com/opera stable non-free
You should also add the gpg key, instructions here:
http://deb.opera.com/Kubuntu 20.04(AMD64)/KDE 5
