I am wondering how to get openjdk-6-jre to work properly in Kubuntu Netbook 9.10 without installing adobe flash. I am also wondering if it is possible to install openjdk-6-jre without installing gnash/swfdec?

- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
