    Can't install ANY packages

Whenever I try to install a package the system always believes it was already installed or Installed successfully, however, they are not and upon a reboot, whenever I am asked for one, I still get notifications of the same updates being recommended and the Software not installed.

I did just do a fresh re-install of kubuntu and manually partitioned during setup. I asked it to use the same old partitions, but I had also checked the "Format" feature upon doing so.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Open a konsole
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
