I'm trying to record input from my SoundBlaster Audigy card using Audacity. The input into the system is clean with no distortion or clipping, but when I record it using Audacity and then play it back there is popping and cracking. I've successfully used Audacity in the same setup on this same system a couple of years ago, so apparently something has changed in the meantime. Does anybody have any ideas?
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc) Use the QUOTE tag instead.
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
