Hello,
So basically all of my problem is packed in the subject. I'd like to rip my CD to MP3 files in order to play them in portable MP3 player, but the K3b offers loads of exotic file formats, yet not including MP3. I have installed and reinstalled libk3b6-extracodecs, to no avail.
Now I rip to WAV and convert the WAVs to MP3 with other software (Audacity in this case. Yes, I know, that's overkill, but I did not want to look for other audio processing software to patch a problem that I hope to solve by fixing K3b)
I'd be grateful for any advice how to detect what's wrong, and best, how to fix it.
