kde sc 4.4.1 kdesu bug continues...

It seems that this bug persists still at 4.4.1. I've tried everything from fresh install upgrades to upgrading 4.3.5 and still no luck. I know there are work-arounds but still you would think this bug would be getting more attention.
I was curious how many are NOT having any difficulty and any reasons they think it might not be causing them trouble, IE, 32 vs 64 bit, little or no gnome libraries installed, etc.

It will be solved - in time. The likely reason that it isn't getting the emphasis you (and many of us) would expect, is precisely because there are work-a-rounds. If kdesudo was truly broken - no work-a-rounds - it would in fact get priority attention.
