    Cannot eject/unmount devices.

Hello I am new to KDE and when I try to eject usb hard drives/ pen drives/ ipods there is no option to do so in dolphin. When I select "Safely remove" in either dolphin or with the device notifier, it doesn't do anything.

How can i remove my usb devices in kubuntu 9.10?

The safely remove should be plenty to unmount most devices, but the iPod needs to be ejected by using

    Code:
    sudo eject /media/youripodname
You should check to make sure that is where it is mounted... but that should work to get rid of the "don't remove" message on your ipod.
