maybe cups problem or a bug

I have 3 usb printers installed, 1 Samsung 1710, 1 Samsung 310 and a Dell 1320c, none of them are seen via lusb. They are all attached to the motherboard ports. I can print on the Samsungs but not the Dell. the Dell was seen via lusb one time and after reboot has not been able to work since. I do not know is this is a cups problem or a usb problem?? Or possibly a problem with both. Can anyone help?? thanks Richard Here is my dmesg info

Re: maybe cups problem or a bug

With at least one printer plugged in enter:
    Code:
    lsusb
    or
    Code:
    sudo lsusb
to see if USB even sees the devices.

I checked with each printer plugged in one at a time, and nothing is seen via lsusb, but when I use sudo lsusb they are all there, a bug I think, Thanks

Please don't multi-post - pick one board only. If you think you may have posted to the wrong board, and no one has replied yet, you can delete it. Otherwise, you can ask a Moderator to do so for you (or to merge it with the other). Multi-posting on a topic makes it confusing to follow.
