[SOLVED]flash dead after up to kde4.4

I just notesed last night that I cant get sound from youtube eney more in firefox or Konqueror?

apple tralers play fine but youtube no sound.

I can rip the youtube vid to the box then it plays fine...............I'v used synaptic to remove flashplugin-installer and installed the .deb from adoby's site with Gdebi but still no joy

I'v checked the chanels in Kmix and alsamixer and everything it shows is up.

right after upgrading to KDE-4.4.0 I had a bunch of new chanels in Kmix and my frunt outputs were finaley working for the first time but the varey next set of upgrades (the next day) killed all that and Kmix is as it was befor.

the problem is exclusev to MY acct.

my user vinny2 HAS sound in you youtube......?..........so the flash dose work just not for vinny.

Hummm time to compare some files me thinks.

ok so it turns out that it was a .asoundrc file I had made trying to get my frunt audio outputs working (it dident) so renaming it .old solved the problem my bad
