(SOLVED) Need Advice

Here is my question for the KDE community. I will be traveling to another country soon, my friends in that country asked me to bring Linux with all the software that they might need. The problem is that the internet is very slow, so I am planning to bring all the software in a separate dvd. I know I will be bringing both Ubuntu and Kubuntu.

Now, is there a way that I can download all the software need it with their dependencies and save them in a dvd? They will not be able to use the internet to check for all the dependencies.

1 thing to note with aptoncd .........it gets it's packages from the /var/cache/apt/archives
........... so if you'v ever run apt-get clean or autoclean you will NOT get a compleat set of packages..............
